The quaint city of Montrose in California welcomes a brand new vibrant Restaurant to it's city called the Three Drunken Goats. The 3 Drunken Goats (or 3DG as I like to call it) is a Spanish Tapas Restaurant with a rich, bold atmosphere. They feature a surprisingly large selection of Spanish wines which are displayed in racks around the dining room as well as a temperature controlled wine room.

The Three Drunken Goats playfully derives part of its name from the semi-soft artisan goat cheese which is imported from the Mediterranean coast of southern Spain from Jumilla (a small village in the Murcia region). Drunken Goat Cheese is soaked in Doble Pasta wine for 48-72 hours imparting not only additional flavor, but also a vibrant purple color to its smooth rind. The cheese is then aged for an additional 75 days. This process gives the Drunken Goat a sweet, smooth flavor.

It's been said the Drunken Goat is a very difficult cheese to find, but luckily you can sample it here at the Three Drunken Goats Restaurant.

The menu definitely displays its Spanish influence with its wide selection of tantalizing wines which perfectly complement their mouthwatering tapas & cheeses.

My vegan folk may find pickings a bit slim, but the options definitely open up if you consume dairy products. Let the friendly staff know about any dietary restrictions you may have and I'm sure they will accommodate you. My vegetarian pick is the amazing portabella mushroom "burger". It is flavorful, zesty and can even satisfy my appetite.

For a great time with a group of friends or a romantic meal with your significant other, the atmosphere at the Three Drunken Goats will lend itself to your perfect meal.

For a taste of Spain, without the price of international airfare, The Three Drunken Goats Restaurant is your passport to authentic Spanish flavor and a wonderful dining experience only minutes from downtown Los Angeles.
