If you've had a chance to join us, you know there's a lot of
preparation that goes into making our burritos. Luckily, most of
our costs are low. I now have the tortillas at a really great
price straight from the manufacturer & we've been lucky to have
bottled water donated (by some generous volunteers) at most of
our events.
We buy the rest of the burrito ingredients in bulk which
helps to keep our costs low. We also ask for a donation of $5
from each of the volunteers. I greatly appreciate those who are
able to contribute their $5, and I'm especially grateful to the
generous people who donate MORE than the requested $5.
Although, these donations DO help offset the cost of our
Burrito making nights, not all the costs are covered. My
goal is for the "Burrito
Project South Pasadena" to be self-sufficient. I'd also like
to expand our operations so that we can provide additional meals
throughout the month for those who are les fortunate than you &
I.
I ask that you join us & lend a hand in making & delivering
burritos to the homeless in Los Angeles & surrounding areas.
Your time & energy really go a long way in helping the less
fortunate. If you are able to make donations of bottled water,
socks, toiletry kits, etc. Those are also greatly appreciated.
Now if you are blessed financially & would like to donate to
a great cause, I appreciate your financial contributions.

PLEASE NOTE: I am in the process of making the "Burrito
Project South Pasadena" a non-profit organization. There
